Council owned and operated car parks
If you are bringing your car into the city then these pages will assist you in finding a suitable council run car parking space for your needs. These pages give you the location of these car parks and the parking charges that apply.
Charges:
There are charges at the city council car parks, but these are dependant on location and length of stay
Ways To Pay:
Parking is paid in person either by pay and display (purchase a ticket for a set period of time on entering a car park and display in your vehicle) or pay on foot (a ticket is given on entry to the car park and payment is made at a pay station on return to vehicle prior to leaving.) Season tickets can be purchased for a number of surface and multi-story car parks. Payment for these can be made at the Cash Office, Civic Centre. The cash office is open Mon, Tues and Thurs 8:30am - 4:30pm, Wed 9:30am - 4:30pm and Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm. Fri: 9:00am - 4:00pm.
