How to apply for your ENC Bus Pass

Please complete an application form and return it in person to any local library, local housing office or Gateway in the Civic Centre.

Please note that all applicants aged 14 years and under will require a counter signature from a parent or guardian.

You can obtain an application form by visiting Gateway, or by using one of the links to the right to either download a printable application form, or to receive one by post.

Along with your form, you must provide proof of your address on one current document in the applicant's name, not more than three months old, from one of the following:

  • Utility bill (dated within the last 3 months in the applicant's name)

  • Bank statement (dated within the last 3 months)

  • Council Tax bill

  • Official correspondence


Please also provide one proof of personal identification from the list below:

  • Driving licence

  • Passport

  • Birth Certificate


You will need to bring a colour passport photograph taken on a light background. Digital or black and white photographs cannot be accepted. However, Gateway are now able to take a digital photograph to be used on your Smartcities card. This is not a guaranteed facility as there may be complications which prevent us from offering this service.


You can hand your forms in to Gateway, Civic Centre at the following times:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday

  • Wednesday

  • Thursday

09:30 - 17:30

08:30 - 19:00
