Southampton Crematorium

Southampton Crematorium is situated in woodland setting north of the city close to the M27 motorway. Car parking is available for mourners and visitors. Friends and relatives may use the waiting rooms provided whilst awaiting the arrival of the funeral cortege.

It is hoped that the natural woodland setting of the crematorium will provide visitors with a haven for quiet contemplation and remembrance. The grounds are open between 08:00 and 20:00 throughout the year.

The circular Book of Remembrance Chapel to the right of the main building is open between 08:30 and 18:00 on weekdays and 10:00 and 16:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

The crematoriums staff are available for limited periods during weekends and public holidays to assist with general enquiries.

Every service is carried out with reverence, dignity and respect.

Please note that, with the exception of guide dogs, no dogs are permitted in the building or grounds.
