Arranging a Cremation
Most people decide to employ the services of a Funeral Director to organise a funeral. A Funeral Director will make sure that all the required legal documentation is completed, carry out all the arrangements for the cremation and if requested they will order flowers and print service sheets. For many different reasons some people may decide that they wish to carry out all the arrangements themselves and for most people this would be the first time they had ever attempted to do so.
The most important thing is that you say farewell to your loved one in the way you choose, there are of course some legal obligations but in general your wishes can be accommodated by the crematorium or cemetery.
Further details about arranging a cremation yourself can be found by selecting the ‘Arranging a Funeral ‘link on the right hand menu.
