Fireworks registration

If your business stores or sells fireworks then they will have to be registered. Trading standards are able to provide information and advice on how to register.

Selling fireworks? Remember, Remember
If you sell fireworks you have certain obligations to the public and your staff.

• You must register or obtain a licence to store

• Store fireworks safely

• Don't sell to under 18's

• Know your fire drill

• You must display a sign where fireworks are supplied or exposed for supply

It is illegal to:

1. Sell adult * fireworks to anyone under the age of 18 or

2. Possess adult * fireworks in a public place

*(Any firework except for a cap, cracker snap, novelty matches, party poppers, serpents and throwdowns.)
