Who can use this service:

This service is available to anyone with a Southampton City library card.

Ways To Apply:

Customers can apply for a library card online or take proof of name and address to any local library.

Your local library is a gateway to a world of books, music CDs, books on tape and CD, DVDs, Playstation Games, language courses, maps and local history material. Most of its is free of charge

Anyone with a Southampton library card can borrow upto 30 items from any of the City's libraries. To make your life even easier, if you borrow something from one library you can return it to any other library in the City. Please note, this does not include books borrowed from Southampton Solent University or University of Southampton.

Books can be borrowed for up to four weeks free of charge.
