Homebid Magazine
We print the Homebid magazine every fortnight. It has advertisements for all of the available council and housing association properties ready for bidding.
The magazine is free and is delivered to 39 different places around Southampton every other Thursday/Friday. Anyone, on the council list and looking for a property can pick one up.
We accept bids (by internet/phone/text/coupon) from midday (12noon) every other Thursday. You need to make sure that your bid reaches us by 2pm the following Wednesday. If you use a coupon to bid, you must to post it on the Monday to be sure that it reaches us by the closing date on Wednesday.
You can get the Homebid magazine delivered direct to your home for a small charge. It costs £7.00 for 6 months (12 magazines). To order your home delivery, make a cheque or postal order for £7.00 payable to 'Locata (Housing Services) Ltd.' and send it along with your Homebid number and your postal address to:
