Shared care for children with disabilities
(Also known as: Westwood respite care)
We give a 24-hour respite care for children and young people. We provide clients with a programme of clinical and therapeutic support to meet their needs. There is a medical and nursing support to the service.
Who can use this service:
We help Southampton children and young people aged from 3 to 19. These children will have severe clinical or behavioural needs and learning disabilities. Assessment by a GP, paediatrician and/or specialist health services is required.
